Finally: Digital silhouettes!

I have been meaning to make silhouettes of my kids but wanted to do it digitally rather than the old-fashined way ( I am lousy with scissors). So I was happy to find this quick tutorial from Keeping Life Creative on how to turn a photo into a digital silhouette using Photoshop.

The term "eye candy" is thrown around a bit too loosely in my opinion, but positively everything on the Joyfolie site is worthy of the phrase. I'll take the whole store, please!

I know a certain girlie who could rock these!

Have Your Cake

I think I would throw a party just for a reason to make these darling cupcake wrappers (the bird wrapper is my favorite). The template is available from one of my favorite sites; Two Peas in a Bucket and can be used on any digital cutting machine. With all of the pretty patterned paper in this world and this template, the party possibilities are endless! Just be sure to invite me!
